On Saturday 18th September 2021
Frenchay Unitarians Chapel will be opening its doors as part of
Heritage Open Days https://www.heritageopendays.org.uk/
Click here to see further info to start planning the resource sheets/handouts we need to prepare.
We need about seven helper volunteers for the basic tours, welcomers and chapel/garden H&S watchers.
Over Next few weeks:
- Any ideas to mount and prepare the 3 displays on Building History, Unitarianism, and Recent Renovations or other?.
- Any children's activities we want to set up?
- Do we want to provide Tea/coffee?
- Help with constructing displays?
We should use this as an opportunity to celebrate all the good work that has gone in over the years to keep the chapel running - service early Sept?
History talk too? Invite local community and representatives from all local organisations...
How to thank all those who funded/contributed to all the recent actions to save the chapel?
We should do a video of tour of the building and garden using the material we prepare ....for our website. Anyone got a good camera we could use?
