Frenchay Chapel opening for Heritage Open Days

On Saturday 18th September 2021

Frenchay Unitarians Chapel will be opening its doors as part of

Heritage Open Days

Click here to see further info to start planning the resource sheets/handouts we need to prepare.

We need about seven helper volunteers for the basic tours, welcomers and chapel/garden H&S watchers.

Over Next few weeks:
  • Any ideas to mount and prepare the 3 displays on Building History, Unitarianism, and Recent Renovations or other?.
  • Any children's activities we want to set up?
  • Do we want to provide Tea/coffee?
  • Help with constructing displays?

We should use this as an opportunity to celebrate all the good work that has gone in over the years to keep the chapel running - service early Sept?
History talk too? Invite local community and representatives from all local organisations...
How to thank all those who funded/contributed to all the recent actions to save the chapel?

We should do a video of tour of the building and garden using the material we prepare ....for our website. Anyone got a good camera we could use?

Please contact if you able to offer support or get involved!
